Meet the Doctors
Dr. Dam
Dr. Trang Dam, who grew up in Hamilton, enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly cosmetic and prosthodontic (replacing missing teeth) procedures. Dr. Dam is an alumnus of Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School, and graduated summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Biology & Physiology from McMaster University. She graduated with distinction as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2011 from the University of Western Ontario. While at Western, Dr. Dam received the Dr. Sam Ioannidis Award for Excellence in Operative Dentistry.
Dr. Dam enjoys running South Ancaster Family Dental with her partner in business and life, Dr. Wallace. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys family time with their three children, baking and making crafts.
Both Drs. Dam & Wallace are members of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), the Hamilton Academy of Dentistry (HAD), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
Dr. Wallace
Dr. John Gregory (Greg) Wallace grew up in North Bay, Ontario, and enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly oral surgery and restoring teeth. Dr. Wallace holds the degree of Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Bio-Medical Science from the University of Guelph. He graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2011 from the University of Western Ontario. Upon graduation, Dr. Wallace received the LDDS Scholarship Award for Clinical & Academic Excellence.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Wallace’s other passion is hockey. He has been an avid hockey player since he was three years old. When he’s not running the family dental practice with Dr. Dam, Dr. Wallace enjoys spending time with their three children, reading and playing trivia and games.
